Day 1 – Kandy
On Arrival meet your English speaking chauffeur guide and be transferred to the hill capital Kandy.
 
 
Day 2 – Kandy
After breakfast take an hours drive to the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage in time to witness the bathing and bottle feeding of baby elephants. In the afternoon take a tour of Kandy town and visit the Temple of the Tooth.
 
 
Day 3 – Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya, this drive takes around two and a half hours through the scenic country side. In the afternoon take a tour of the colonial town of Nuwara Eliya. Have a brief insight into how the world famous Ceylon Tea is created at a tea factory and plantation site.
 
 
 
Day 4 – Horton Plains and
In the morning spend the day touring the Kandy town including a visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic. In the afternoon you can choose to relax in the pool or head to the Royal Botanical Garden
.
 
 
Day 5 – Bandarawela
After breakfast proceed to Nanu Oya Train station to conduct a train journey to Bandarawela.
 
 
 
Day 6 – Colombo
 
After breakfast head to the capital Colombo via Kithulgala. The drive is scenic and the last bit of the hills you see before arriving at the commercial city. In the afternoon embark on a tour of the city and some last minute shopping.
 
 
Day 7 – End of Tour

Day 02 –Negombo/ Chilaw / Anuradapura

 

After Breakfast  proceed  to Anuradhapura  via  Chilaw Muneshwaram .

 It is believed that Munneswaram predates the Ramayana and a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva was located here. A Shiva Lingam was already here when Lord Rama visited this place. Lord Rama after his victorious battle left for Ayodhya with Sita in one of King Ravana's vimanas. He felt he was being followed by Bramhaasthi dosham (a malevolent black shadow) as he had killed King Ravana who was a Brahmin. When the Vimana was passing over Munneswaram, he felt the vimana vibrating, and realised the "Brahmaasthi Dosham" was not following him at this particular point. Proceed to Manavari. Day 03-Anuradhapura/Jaffna

Day 10-Nuwaraeliya /Ella /Yala/Tissmaharama

 

 

After Breakfast  proceed  to Tissamaharamaya Ella   via Welimada. Enroute visit Divrumpola.( Divurumpola means a 'place of oath'. This is the place where Sita underwent the "Agni" test. Day -12-Bentota/Colombo

Day 1 –

Upon arrival at the airport / or pre requested location in Colombo you will meet our English speaking Chauffeur/Guide. Thereafter you will travel directly to the ancient city of Anuradhapura. You may either spend the day relaxing by the pool or visit the Anuradhapura town.

Day 2 –

After an early breakfast at the hotel leave for the town of Jaffna. After a 5 hour journey arrive in Jaffna for lunch and to explore the lost town. Visit the now restored Jaffna Library, the iconic Nalur Temple or even indulge in an ice cream sundae at Rio Ice cream. Make sure to see as much as possible before retiring for the night stay at Hotel.

Day 3 –

Start the day off with an early breakfast and set off to the island of Nagadeepa which houses a temple and kovil. A 15 minute boat ride from the coast is the only possible access to the island. After returning have lunch and continue onto the Keeri Malai Kovil & Freshwater Pond. The Dambakolapatuna Temple is the site of the first Bo Tree Sapling planted and is a must see. If time permits, visit the untouched Casuarina Beach and peek at India at Point Pedro before returning to hotel for dinner.

 

Day 4 –

Trincomalee houses one of the largest natural harbours in the world. Recently it had been a base for the Sri Lankan Army and Navy but now it remains an amazing multicultural town with roots dating back to Marco Polo. Spend the evening at the pool and tuck in early for a tour of the town is eminent the next day.

Day 5 – 

After breakfast you have the option of an excursion to Pigeon Island. Pigeon Island is Sri Lanka’s 17th national wildlife park. Named after the Rock Pigeon that colonized it the island, it has some of the best coral sites in Sri Lanka. Thereafter, visit Trincomalee War Cemetery one of the six commonwealth war cemeteries in Sri Lanka. This cemetery is for British soldiers that were killed during World War II. Finish off the day with a visit to the Koneswaram Temple & Lover’s Leap. Finish off the tour with dinner at the hotel.

 

Day 6 – 

After breakfast head out to the coastal town of Pasikudah. Pasikudah is a popular tourist destination boasting one of the longest stretches of shallow coastline in the world. Walk kilometers into the ocean with it only reaching your knees, a truly amazing experience.

 

Day 7 – 

Since the day has been spend enjoying the sights of the town, sit back and relax with a cocktail on the undisturbed, quiet beach.
